The Police Authority currently has three schemes in place demonstrating our commitment to equality in relation to Race, Disability and Gender. These schemes set out how we will consult widely across all communities, monitor national good practice advice and promote equality.

Work is proceeding to develop a single combined equality scheme that will draw our existing schemes into one comprehensive document, encompassing the full range of diversity strands that make up our communities.
