The Policing Pledge is a set of
minimum standards of service that local people can expect from
their police force. There are ten elements to the pledge which
focus on the following areas:
- - Fairness, dignity, respect and access to services
- - Community engagement and consultation
- - Management of, and response to, calls from the
public
- - Victim and customer care
Dorset Police Authority fully supports the commitment outlined
in the Pledge by Dorset Police and, through it's scrutiny
role, will monitor the performance of the Force in
implementing and delivering these service
standards.
